How does the support work?
The support starts as soon as you start to answer questions about your
business. Using your answers there is a brief response to give you key
information or things you may not have thought about. As you progress through
your Action Plan on the Guided Trail package, the whole process is designed to
give you all the support you require to complete each action. This varies
depending upon the action but can include key points of information in an easy-to-read
format, pre-made documents so you complete your business information
or downloadable materials for use in your business. If you want specific help to
implement an action, if relevant, we can connect you to a supplier who we have
vetted and can complete the work on your behalf.
How do I access the support?
Once you have selected the package that is right for you, the support begins.
We take you through one step at a time and explain all the different functions
where you can get support.
How do I see my results?
Your results are presented to you once you have completed all your questions
so we can assess your business as a whole, before giving you the results.
Is my information safe?
Yes. We do not share your information with any other business unless you
specifically ask to be connected to a supplier. In this case only the minimal
information will be given to the supplier to assist them with your request. All
information is held using the latest security method to protect your data. We
abide by all legislation over the protection of data and have policies in place to
protect data.
How do I ensure my actions are accurate?
The actions are determined according to the answers you give us. This is why it
is so important to be honest about what is actually happening in your business
now. We are here to support you, not judge you. We understand the challenges
of running a business and know that you can’t do everything all at once.
Can I use the platform on multiple devices?
Yes. You choose which device is right for you. Simply log in using any device,
from any location in the world and you can access your account.
What size should my business be?
We have designed this service to support micro and small sized businesses. If you are a
medium sized business, there is no reason why you can’t use this service as we review all
key areas in your business including systems and processes that are required for a
medium sized business. You may have a Business Consultant working with you who has
reviewed all areas of your business, looking at how you can improve your business. If not,
please sign up and we would be delighted to work with you.
Do I need staff for the platform to work?
No absolutely not. We work with your business as it is today and look to where you want
to go in the future. All your actions are based on the requirements of your business.
Is there anything I need before I start the platform?
Absolutely nothing. As soon as you make the payment you can begin.
Do I need to be a decision maker in my business to use your platform?
No. You will need authorisation from your business to answer the questions, but many
business owners ask Office Managers or someone else who is involved in the running of
their business to answer the questions.
My business is based outside of the UK, can I still use the platform?
We are currently working on adapting the questions so that it is suitable regardless of the
country you are based in. We are hoping to launch this as part of our second phase of
product launch.
What if English is not my first language?
The questions are written in English. As long as you can understand English there is no
reason not to use this service.
What if I change my business from a sole trader to a Limited Company?
Let us know on your Accounts page and we will take care of the rest. As a registered
company there are additional questions we will ask you. Given this is a new business we will
then ask you questions about your Limited Company so we can reassess the actions that are
required.
What if I close my company and open a new company?
You can let us know on the Account page. We will take you through the process to make sure
that you create a new account for your new business and then a new Action Plan will be
created for you, once you have answered questions about this business.
What if I have a Group company with subsidiary businesses?
Each subsidiary company will need to be registered and select the package required.
Can I Refer a Business to you?
Yes. We have made it easy for you to do this as we know that when you find something that
really helps you, telling others is important. You may have friends in business, work alongside
a business you know will benefit or can see that a business needs support.
What should I do if I don't know an answer?
The best thing to do is find out from someone in your business so that you give an accurate
answer. If you don’t know you can select the answer that says “None of these” answers. Your
actions will include relevant actions for your answer so you won’t miss out if you put “None of
these”.
What should I do if I don't understand a question?
The questions are written without the use of jargon and in easy to understand English. If there
is a specific word which you may not be familiar with there is a brief explanation in brackets.
I am struggling to complete an action, what extra support can I recieve?
On the Guided Trail package, we have given you lots of different support to complete your
action which is relevant. If it is appropriate to the action, you can select to outsource the work
to another business to complete the action on your behalf. If you have selected the Solo
Explorer package and decide that you require support, you can upgrade to the Guided Trail.
I have completed all my actions, what do I do next?
We have lots of additional resources to help you build your business. You can select which
resources you would find useful. We are constantly developing the resources so look out for
new additions that you are interested in.
How do I report an issue?
Simply select the button to report an issue, describe what the problem you are having and we
will seek to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, go to your Account and click on a button to “cancel my subscription”. You will
be taken through the process.
Can I pause my subscription?
No. You can cancel your subscription and then sign up again when you are ready.
How do I change my plan?
You can upgrade your package whenever you like. There are opportunities to do this before the Action
List is created. If you already have the Action List, you can log onto your Account and upgrade on your
Account Page. If you completed the questions over 6 months ago, we will ask you to answer some
questions and create a fresh Action Plan for you.
How do I update billing information?
Go to your Account and select your billing information. Edit your payment details and we take care of the
rest.
How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password from your Account Page.
Can I add staff members to my account?
No, it is one log in for your business.
